Cult of the Wheel
The Cult of the Wheel is one of many Sigmarite cults found in the Cities of Sigmar.[1]
Teachings
The Cult of the Wheel believes in progress as the future turns to the present and then into the past, a celestial dance represented by the turning of the Great Wheel. For the members of the cult, it is irrelevant if the faithful are crushed beneath the grinding of the Great Wheel as generation after generation are thrown into the wilderness of the Realms where they die only to be replaced by the next generation as the Great Wheel continues turning. [2a]
Symbols and Religious Icons
The sect uses the twin-tailed wheel as a divine symbol. The twin-tailed wheel can be rendered in an assortment of different styles and made from a variety of materials.[1] Some members of the cult such as Pontifex Zenestra avoid dirtying the wheel and thus travel on palanquins carried by people instead.[2a]
Influence
It is one of the largest and oldest cults of the Sigmarite Faith found within Hammerhal Aqsha, the considerable influence the cult wields extends even to the Grand Conclave of Hammerhal.[3a]
Leadership
Pontifex Zenestra, known as the Matriarch of the Great Wheel, is the founder and the current head of the Cult.[2a]
