Corpus Somni are homunculi that accompany the Soul Shepherds, members of the Freeguild Command Corps that support the Freeguild Marshals of the Freeguild. These eerie pipers help their masters guard the souls of those who cannot be saved.[1][2a]

Abilities

Corpus Somni play a tune that is said to be only heard by Sigmarites close to death, guiding the souls of the dead to Shyish without falling to the clutches of Nagash. Those who can't hear the melody are filled with an odd sense of certainty that they will see the day through to its end.[2a][2b]
