Phosphoria is a landmass found to the southeast of the Great Parch.[2a]

History

Age of Sigmar

The landmass lays far from the heart of the Great Parch, with only a few scant outposts of Sigmar's Empire ever erected on its shores. Instead it has long been dominated by Chaos tribes who sailed to it from across the Vitriol Sea seeking either plunder, or escape from the Goretide.[4a]

It became connected to the Great Parch and Sulphuria by land bridges created in the Hour of Ruin when The Gnaw came into existence.[1a][3a] This twisted isthmus has allowed the Skaven to break the relative isolation of the landmass, to invade in force. Unlikely saviours would arrive in the form of the Astral Templars, for though they would shed no tears for the deaths of followers of Chaos, they believe even Darkoath tribesmen deserve cleaner deaths than what the ratmen will give them.[4a]

Geography

Phosphoria is covered in vast stretches of sulphur flats and basalt-spined mountains surrounded by foothills.[4a]

Locations

Polities

The landmass is home to a number of Chaos civilizations, particularly Darkoath Tribes.[1a]
